“Will Jesus Know You?”

Glory of God

While in prayer February 9, 2018, I heard the Holy Spirit say,

“Will Jesus know you?”

I was then shown the horror many who claim to be followers of Jesus will experience when, upon His return, are told, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of iniquity.”

It was then impressed upon my spirit:

Most believe they are serving God, but in actuality are hostile towards Him!

The Lord led me to the following scriptures and began to reveal a great deception that has crept into the church:

Romans 8:5-8, says, (KJV)

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”  (Emphasis added)

Merriam-Webster dictionary says “enmity” means, “positive, active and typically mutual hatred or ill will.”  This same word is used in James 4:4.

So the carnal mind is enmity, hostile, or in hatred against God!  To be carnal is to be “governed by the flesh,” and as the remainder of the verse says, “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Much was said about the flesh vs. the Spirit in the New Testament, and it’s critical we understand the two covenants of Hagar and Sarah spoken of in Galatians 4:22-31:

Covenant of Hagar:  the bondwoman; Ishmael born of the flesh; represents bondage.  Because God’s promise to Abraham didn’t happen right away – God was taking too long, they took matters into their own hands.  Using their human reasoning, they came up with a plan to “help” God get the job done!

Covenant of Sarah:  the freewoman; Isaac born of the promise; represents freedom.  After an appointed time, Abraham received the promise of God, born by the power of the Spirit.

Abraham’s “work” to make things happen through Hagar was not acceptable to God.  The bondwoman and her son were CAST OUT!

Jesus said not everyone claiming to know him will enter the Kingdom of Heaven – only those doing the WILL of His Father!  Those playing church by doing things that “seem right” to them after the flesh, will not be among those entering the Kingdom.  Even if one goes about prophesying, casting out demons, or blasting evangelistic messages all over the internet, if it’s not by the leading of the Spirit of God, it’s being done in the flesh.

Satan knows if he can keep believers functioning in the flesh – they cannot please God, and in fact will be in a state of rebellion and hostility towards Him.  As a result of ignorance and deception, the church is filled with baby “Christians” who haven’t a clue about walking in the Spirit.  These continue to yield to their carnal nature, being ruled by their will, their human reasoning, and their emotions.

Just as Abraham’s “works” were not acceptable to God and cast out, so will our own works be upon Jesus’ return!  We need to ask this question:

When I come before the judgment seat to give an account before God, will Jesus know me?  Or will I hear Him say, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you worker of iniquity!”

Jesus said he only spoke as he heard the Father speak, and did what He saw the Father do.  He was completely led by the Spirit of God!

The true heirs of God will live by the covenant of Sarah – the covenant of the Spirit.  They will submit everything to the will of the Father, and just as Jesus, say only what they hear the Father say, and do only as they see Him do.

In that glorious day, not only will Jesus know us, but we’ll hear Him say,

“Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Note from Diana:

The deception is so very subtle.  As a believer goes about doing what he considers to be good works and deeds, he truly believes he is fulfilling the call of God, and is a follower of Jesus Christ. But unless he is being led by the Spirit in everything he does, he’s building his own kingdom apart from God.  If the enemy can keep this deception going, the believer stays in a spirit of rebellion and hostility toward God.  Every work, along with the believer (unless repented of) will be cast out!

Just as a small child cannot be trusted with authority and weaponry, neither can a baby “Christian” who is walking in the flesh.

To be able to make it through what is coming, we as Saints of the Most High God must walk according to the Spirit.  Only then may we be entrusted with the Power of His Love, which will give the Bride of Christ the spiritual power and authority to be used as His Instruments of Righteousness, bringing glory to the Father.

The line of separation is being drawn now, and it is such a very fine line. I was given a warning on February 17th about “War in the Heavens,” which, God willing, will be released shortly.  But I will say this; only those walking in the Spirit are being called to this battle…

Please pray over this message for wisdom and understanding, that you be shown how it may apply to you personally.

Scripture References:

Galatians 4:22-31, “…Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.  His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise…Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise.  At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit.  It is the same now.  But what does scripture say: “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.  Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.”

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”

Romans 8:5-8, “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

James 4:4, “…know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?  Whosoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

1 Corinthians 3:1-3, “And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you as to those who are spiritual, but as to those who are carnal – even as to babes in Christ.  I gave you milk to drink, and not meat; for you were not yet able to receive spiritual meat…”

John 4:23-24, “But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship Him.”

Matthew 25:34, “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Thank you brother for this word from The Lord. This is confirmation for what The Lord has been revealing to me too. I have been grieving for the lost. I keep going back to Gethsemane and crying out for my own flesh to be crucified and walk blameless and whole deceiving none (especially not myself) so that I lead no one astray or become a stumbling block. I was watching t.v. the other day and I saw women from a popular t.v. show, speaking very frankly about Vice President Pence and his faith. They were very unkind and made very worldly remarks. It just goes to show many think they know exactly what it is to follow Jesus but they have no real relationship with him. I believe these people who think they know him or at least know about him are much greater in number than us as Christians. It is a sad day we live in William, you and Diana are such a blessing in my life. I appreciate so much coming here and reading and y’all having the scriptures to back up everything the two of you are being given by The Lord. Please forgive my scattered remarks. Love , prayers and blessing to both of you brother and sister.

  2. William Thompson Says:

I have to agree with you concerning the numbers of people being so much greater than what they want to believe. There will be many who will be very shocked and surprised by day and its outcome. As the Word shows us, it will be those who believe that they are Christians and have done things in the name of Jesus that will be cast out!! This is not those of the world! We truly have been deceived by the enemy and by our own flesh/carnal mind!
And thank you so very much for your encouragement! Sharon, our loving Father does indeed hear your prayers. But more importantly than hearing the words of your prayers, He KNOWS your heart and what is inside! He will continue to guide and woo you to Himself! This is what He desires!

  3. Diana Pulliam Says:

I echo what you said about grieving for the lost. And the horror of thinking one is “doing” everything required of them by God, showing up at church once a week and delivering meals to the elderly here and there, to find out you’ve been HOSTILE towards Him! All those “things” we do might be good and wonderful, but how is our relationship with our God? Do we really believe and trust Him in ALL things, ready to hand everything over to Him and walk away if asked to do so?

You are in my prayers, dear sister! As William said, our Father hears your prayers and He sees every tear. He knows your heart, Sharon, that you are desperately seeking Him! I feel lead to say this to you right this moment: “Pay attention, I’m answering your prayers!”

Sharon, He told me that before many changes began taking place in my life. So be very mindful as He is answering your prayers!
    God bless you!

  4. Diana Pulliam Says:

When you told me what the Lord had asked you, and then revealed how MOST in the church are in actual hostility towards Him, I was shocked! I believe we forget, it’s not just the in-your-face sins like murder, lying, adultery, etc., but the “self-reliant” attitude of not trusting our God in the most intimate areas of our lives that are such an offense to Him.

He wants such intimacy with us. What an eye opener this was!

  5. William Thompson Says:

Yes! This grieves the very heart of the Father! We have been so deceived and it is by the very subtle things which we do! For God knows our hearts and….their motives and intents! There is nothing hidden with the Father. We can play like we are doing “good works” for Him, while at the same time remain in the flesh, fulfilling those carnal desires! It is spiritual humanism….that way we do things, our way of how we were brought up, our preconceived ideas, etc, which truly show the Father that enmity in our hearts!! We go about our lives doing things “our way” and think we are doing God some sort of a favor or pleasing Him. This very thing, our flesh and carnal ways, display our hostility or hatred for God whom we claim that we love and serve!

  6. Sharon Webster Says:

In several of the previous messages obedience has been one of the topics. Obedience is key . Obedience will cause the saints that seek God’s Devine Guidance daily to be Empowered and make Our Maker known in all the Earth. The modern times people want to have church be a place more like a social club and scripture study to be just that a study. The scriptures live in the lives of the saints. You can study a plant. How it grows , how it reacts to sun, rain and so forth but study alone doesn’t make you any more a part of that plant than you possibly ever could be. The same is of the scriptures. You can study and study but if they don’t live and grow inside you then they are just a study. You Must Be Born Again. Oedience is achieved through spiritual growth. This means you grow up in God’s Word ( The Holy Bible KJV ) . You are first saved, baptized and then given the Charge from the church on how to live a Christian life then you can grow in The Word . The walk with the Lord is a close but most rewarding one. Yes you will be tried as with fire but the new creature in Christ is a bold yet gentle one with all guilt and shame removed. Thank you brother and sister for your prayers . You are strength to me. Blessings be to both of you and your families .

  7. William Thompson Says:

YES and AMEN!! You are so very correct! The Word says that even the devils believe and tremble (James 2:19). It is more than just believing and hearing the Word…it is that obedience to what it says! This true obedience comes from surrendering to the will of the Father! As we yield ourselves before Him and allow Him to do His will, then we will grow and mature in Christ Jesus! 1 Cor. 3:6 says that God brings the increase! Some may plant the seeds, others will water them but only God can bring that increase! But we are so conditioned by the teaching that “put action to your words or to your faith” and then we think that God is going to “jump on our bandwagon,” if you will, and bless what we are doing! It is by obedience to His will that demonstrates true faith because the obedience replacing that enmity that is in our hearts!

  8. Sharon Webster Says:

    Amen brother !!!

  9. Abby Pham Says:

Dear Family in the Lord Jesus please pray for me able to hear the voice of Holy Father God clearly so that I would know what I should say and what I should speak and what I should pray about for his people my family my relative my friend and whoever God will told me

John 12:49 New King James Version (NKJV)
49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

Thank you so much may Holy God bless and keep all of us safe and under his Grace Love and care

    much Love

  10. William Thompson Says:

We will most definitely keep you and your family in our prayers! Thank you for giving to us that opportunity to lift you up before God!

  11. NAnn Says:

In recent months I heard in my spirit the Lord asking (as in John 6:67-68 ) “So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” I would answer like Peter: “Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go?”

This last time I was asked that same question again, and I responded with the same answer, I heard, “That is not an answer. Do you want to turn back?” Of course I do not want to turn back, however, I sensed the seriousness of the question so I answered thoughtfully. “Lord, I don’t know all that this entails but I know that whatever it is, I want You. No, I do not want to turn back.”

In light of this, reading your posting had special significance to me.

Also, this verse — Revelation 3:15-17 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

The lukewarm being spit out of His mouth paints quite a picture.

  12. William Thompson Says:

Yes, the Word is quite plain about this particular thing! I thank you for sharing that verse in Rev. 3 because it is so very important! There are far too many who are in that category, thinking that they are serving God and doing Him some sort of favor. But God knows our hearts and our intents! We may fool some people, but we will never fool God! Luke 14:26-33 tells us simply that if we are not willing to give up everything, we cannot be His disciple! And in Luke 9:62 tells us: “And Jesus said to him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (KJV) We are not to be as Lot’s wife who looked back and longed for those things which she was having to run from! We must keep our eyes fixed solely upon Him and not long for the things of this world!

  13. Diana Pulliam Says:

How amazing is our God? He wants such intimacy with us, and is moving powerfully to woo and call His people to come into closer relationship with Him, to make our abode with Him.
Thank you for sharing this, Ann.

  14. Bobby Says:

I believe God is trying to lead me into a place of total submission to His will. This has been going on for some time now. But I feel as if my own lack of courage – the courage to trust God totally in all things – has been the limiting factor in my “ability” to totally surrender to Him. Does that make sense?

I have begun praying honestly to God about some things. Specifically, I have confessed that my own flesh has been the thing that has held me back from a deeper relationship with him, and from being totally obedient to His will in my life. (I stress that on this last point, I AM NOT THERE YET). I have also begun to pray that he would give me the courage necessary for totally dying to self and surrendering to His will. (Not to mention, the trust in Him that is necessary to do this as well). It is just SO hard to want to give up everything in total surrender. But I know I must. I guess I’m just at a point where I am asking myself, “But HOW do I do this? What is this supposed to even look like?”

If you don’t mind, I have a couple of requests. First, would you all join together in prayer (and faith to believe that it will be done) that the Lord will strengthen my inner man so that I will have the courage to lay down everything at His feet, and surrender all to Him? Also, if anyone else has encountered struggles in the area of total surrender, I would really love to hear your stories about how you finally came to a place of total surrender. I believe I would be encouraged by such stories.

Thank you so much everyone in advance. Love this site!

  15. William Thompson Says:

We will join in with you in seeking the Father! This is His desire for all of us and He will surely answer your prayers! And, yes, it does make so much sense concerning your own lack of courage because it is our flesh/personal agenda which keeps us from that point of complete surrender in Him. This work can only happen by the work of our loving Father’s hand upon us! Our part is to continue to seek Him and desire to surrender and then walk according to what we are shown and instructed to do! This obedience to His will brings Him glory and we do not seek that for our own selves by our own works! You are correct in that it is our flesh and it is so very difficult! Everything within us/our flesh will scream out and resist as it does NOT want to yield its control over our lives, minds and hearts. It has been allowed to sit upon that throne of our heart for a very long time and does not desire to give that up. It comes down to this….do we truly trust God? What is in our hearts?

  16. Diana Pulliam Says:

I fully identify with what you’re saying, as I have dealt with the issue you describe. Our flesh does NOT want to die and will fight you tooth and nail. It does not want to be uncomfortable for one minute and will try to negotiate with God – “if there be any other way…” As Jesus’ flesh was screaming out to live, He turned it over to be crucified!

  17. /Cathy G. Says:

Last week, my husband and I witnessed a miracle, or two…or three! I didn’t know where else I could post it so I copied and pasted it from a Forum that I belong to. God Bless you!
Wow! I am excited to share with my brothers and sisters of the GREAT thing God just did! On Thursday, my husband got a frantic call from one of his siblings that his sister Sylvia was in the hospital and that we needed to come right away. We hastily packed our bags and jumped into the car and settled into our 5 hour drive to Bakersfield Ca. I wasn’t sure how to pray as I know the hard life she has led and I know she would be excited to be HOME with Jesus. So we prayed for HIS will to be done and if possible for her to hang on long enough for her big brother, my husband Israel, to get there and say goodbye. Well, HE did much much more than that! She had just had a heart attack and was on life support and they were asking for her immediate family members as the prognosis was not good. Her ordeal started months ago when she was diagnosed with Tuberculosis. As children, there entire household was exposed and were suppose to be on medication but some of them did not take it and the disease has laid dormant all of this time. There was a large mass on her lungs that made it very difficult to breath and they were planning on surgery when she was rushed to the hospital because of complications concerning low blood pressure. She went into cardiac arrest on Thursday and when the doctor opened her up he had found that one of her arteries was 99% blocked, another was completely gone and he was able to clear the third just enough for her to receive enough blood to keep her heart pumping. At this point, that was all the information they would give us. Over the course of the next few days the nurses were very vague about her prognosis and we were getting frustrated with them at the lack information that they were sharing with us. Little did we know that the heart surgeon and the lung doctor were stunned and were struggling to process what had just occurred. When she woke up and became aware of her surroundings, she told us that she had died and saw the light but Jesus had sent her back and told her that it wasn’t her time yet. We were so thankful that we were overjoyed but the best part was yet to come. The next day the heart surgeon verified that she indeed did pass away but she was revived and that he had just witnessed a miracle. He described with tears in his eyes that it as the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. As he was repairing the only vessel that he could possibly be worked on, a bright light came in and He witnessed God repairing her heart. He said that he watched as new blood vessels appeared and they looked like flowers blooming. Than HE created a new artery right before the doctor’s eyes! Amazing that a doctor would even admit it as very few of them have faith to begin with. I can only begin to imagine how this miracle spread through out the hospital and then will eventually touch thousands if not millions of lives as the word spreads like wildfire. But wait, HE wasn’t done yet. Later on that day the lung surgeon revealed to us that, to his amazement, the lung mass was also gone and there was no trace of TB! HALLELUJAH! PRAISE JESUS! GLORY BE TO YHWH THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH! This is only the beginning folks! Yes, we are going through tough times but for us who love him with all our hearts, we are going to witness HIS glory like never before!

  18. William Thompson Says:

    Cathy G,
Thank you for sharing this incredible story! I am praising God with you and your family at the mighty hand of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ for what He has done! Wow! I truly believe that we, the believers and followers of Jesus Christ, shall see more of this type of display of His glorious power in the days ahead! This will bring much glory to the Father and I pray, will draw many to seek Him and come to know Him personally!

  19. Diana Pulliam Says:

WOW! Praise God! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing move of God. Yes, just think of all the lives this has touched and the Lord our God gets all Glory and Praise! Wow, Wow, Wow!
    Bless you, Sister!

  20. Sharon Webster Says:

Bobby, I am praying for you too. You will be a New Creature in Christ when your firey trial is done . I am a firm believer that people here can reach God. We didn’t find each other by accident. We all do have our stories and the ways God has brought us through some terrible times but these opportunities have made our faith grow into mighty and greater trust in our Lord Jesus. Thank you Cathy for sharing these miracles. Our God is still on his throne making himself known to us his children and to the lost. This is so encouraging and uplifting. I am asking God to bring Holy Fire to America. In my spirit I tremble as I type this. My mind is telling me you have no right to ask these things but my heart and my spirit know different. Still have to ask God to take total control sometimes. Most times. The Lord has revealed to me it is midnight but midnight isn’t a time for us as Christians to lay down and wallow in grief but to rise up and proclaim Our Lord Jesus before a world that only see midnight. I love all of you guys.

  21. William Thompson Says:

    Yes and amen!!!

  22. Bobby Says:

Thank you all so very much for your kind and encouraging comments. And for your agreement for prayer, and for the final victory to be Jesus’.

I will write more later on. But let me just say this… I think every follower of Jesus has their “Gethsemene moment”. The moment of the ultimate struggle between the flesh and the spirit. This war is waging in me now more than I’ve ever sensed it. I cried out to God this morning about it, saying that I wanted to be an overcomer, but I cannot do so of my own accord. I believe I heard something in my mind, it might have been the voice of God, but I’m still questioning if my mind may have just been overactive at that moment. I’m hoping someone might be able to provide some sort of insight or confirmation of this. To that end, here is what I think I heard the Father say:

“My son, rest in me. My commands are not grievous”.

  23. William Thompson Says:

You have seen clearly what is truly going on! We have been so programmed if you will to cater to the flesh and the things of this world. Once we make a conscious decision to surrender all before God, everything begins to rise up and to resist! We have placed our own desires and lusts upon the thrones of our hearts, therefore replacing God and it does not want to be removed from that position! Read John 10:4, 27! It tells us that we know the voice of our God and our Lord Jesus! And ask yourself….does this glorify the Father? This was always in the heart of the Son of God! Matthew 11:30 tells us that the yoke with Jesus is light and easy! Once we surrender to the will of the Father, we become “yoked” with Jesus. We have to learn to walk alongside Him and stop resisting. As we resist, it “chafes” us and causes imbalance. But if we yield to Him, He will bear the weight of that yoke and walk with us!

  24. Donna Says:

    Oh. My.
I have no idea why I came to your site tonight – except that ….I have been struggling mightily in prayer. I literally fell asleep last week when I had determined to spend an hour with God in prayer. This morning my mind wandered all over the place when I should have been praying. I am ashamed to say that lately this happens more often – not less.

I seem to be okay reading scripture. I get into trouble when I start praying/talking with my Lord God.

I am frightened about not being known by God. I couldn’t bear to be sent away. I always thought I had a “warrior spirit”. Now I am frightened to think that just when the battle is raging I have no weapons to help in this battle.

Do you have any specific suggestions for someone who is failing?
    Thank you!!

  25. Diana Pulliam Says:

I feel the Lord led you to the site tonight. I’ve been going through a raging battle with the powers of darkness that include just what you’re describing. Make sure you read ‘All Hell Will Come Against You!’ (http://themightyhandofgod.com/?p=2180)

Make no mistake about it; YOU ARE UNDER ATTACK. Saints are no threat to Satan and his kingdom as long as they stay in the flesh and the ways of this world. But if you begin to press into God, drawing near in prayer, you become dangerous to the god of this world! He will do whatever he can to stop you from ascending to the throne of God, taking your seat in Christ at the right hand of the Father! The article will explain more about this.

Make sure you stay secure in the armor of God every day. I plead the blood of Jesus over me every day, and especially as I enter into His presence in prayer. I bind the hand of the enemy that would try to interfere with my communion with the Lord. I always declare that I have the mind of Christ, that i take every thought that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus!

Donna, do not put up with the distractions – caste them down and trample them under foot! The enemy knows you have a “warrior spirit” and is terrified of this anointing over you! Begin your communion with the Lord in praise and worship – that drives demons away in a hurry! Hope this helps shed light on what is actually taking place, dear sister!
    Blessing to you!

  26. William Thompson Says:

Continue to press in and not allow the distractions to have any victory over you! This will not happen easily as the enemy will try to draw you away from seeking God. It is obvious that you must be a bit threatening to the enemy as he is not one to waste time, resources or energy on those who he has already deceived. He is diligent about attempting to extinguish the “light” of God’s glory that is upon His people. And it must be that warrior spirit that has him a bit frightened?! My suggestion….stay encouraged and focused on seeking God the Father and surrendering to His will….He will direct your steps!

  27. Joy Says:

I am not very tech intelligent but battles I know. The past two years the Lord has shown me, that in my traumatic life, my heart had split off into different personalities with a soul and will of their own. I could not crucify them until I got them back and then they worked in agreement with me as one heart. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and bind up the wounds that broke them. The depths of the insights I had to understand and work with ,were so out of the box . I had to learn step by step how to get my heart healed through prayer, websites and Jesus. After the first year of my experience another friend , who came from a more traumatic life than mine came to find her heart parts .She knows the spirit realm like the back of her hand . I stumble in it like a dark cave . Between us we got our hearts healed and are now transitioning. God is helping us learn to surrender our hearts and trust him at his word. I mostly used a website called net burst net to learn about how the heart breaks off, as grace and mercy from God, to help us continue on in life despite death defying trauma as children.
I would never have guessed I had DID . God waited until I was old to reveal it to me and helped me get whole again. Hope this helps someone else so they can trust with a whole heart instead of beating themselves up for perceived weaknesses or cowardice. I use to get so upset with myself . I also couldn’t quiet the inner turmoil from the thoughts of the broken parts in my mind. Now there is calm and peace and unity. God came to make me whole and HOLY. Amen
the pure in heart will see Jesus

  28. Diana Pulliam Says:

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and the amazing GOODNESS of our God! I believe this will give others who are struggling with childhood trauma much needed hope.
May God richly bless you, Joy!

  29. William Thompson Says:

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony! Rev. 12:11 says we overcome the enemy by the shed blood of the Lamb of God and the word of our testimony! All the glory goes to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! As a victim of extreme childhood abuse, I do understand how very difficult it can be for someone to figure out life…let alone to try to get through it. One of the most life-changing verses for me was when the Holy Spirit directed me to Ephesians 2:12. It says, “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:” And verse 13 says…”But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” THAT was me….without hope and without God! But God…in His great mercy towards me continued to woo me to Himself and revealed Himself to me. That is when my own healing began! And, yes! He can and will make you whole and holy for He has brought you through all of that for a purpose! Do not stop seeking after His goodness and draw near to Him and He will draw near to you! Blessings and thank you again!

Diana and William, Thank you for your encouragement. The Lord is working out his plans on the earth . It seems the most afflicted will be the ones teaching and stealing captives from the enemies camp. Most people perceive DID as mental illness so the church does not want to teach on the subject. I did teach twice at one of my churches as led by Holy Spirit. A few people got insights and started on their healing journey . My friend, who is whole now and transitioning is also a teacher. She teaches how to go to heaven as God leads her . Her abuse was SRA so she knows a lot about how the spirit realm works and she knows God intimately .Thank God for whole hearts and peace of mind. I will continue to enjoy your insights .
    Love, JOY

Thank you for words as this encourages us in that we are hearing correctly and His words are ministering to the believers! That is the whole purpose….for His will to be accomplished and that He alone is glorified in ALL things! Praise be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God!!!

  32. Karen Weigum Says:

Over recent years the Lord has been revealing these things to me as well. I kept asking Him: but Lord, how can we walk in the Spirit? How can we walk in such intimacy with you that we can have that kind of One to one, interconnected relationship with You that our hearts long for? His answer to me was: only through the Cross of Jesus Christ. The cross of Christ is the only door to the Kingdom of heaven that He calls us to. In other words, as we embrace that cross, allowing Him to have every part of us, allowing Him to daily kill off that nasty flesh that wants to drive us, daily submitting ourselves to that painful crucifying work, then that very cross becomes entrance to a life of walking moment by moment in His precious presence. I see that that is how He is preparing His Bride. When we are so totally hidden in Him by the work of His cross, His life can flow freely through us as in the image of the True Vine and the branches and we can be used of Him in the new things He wishes to do.

  33. William Thompson Says:

You have it correctly!!! It was wonderfully summed up and also, very exciting! When God reveals such truths to us, He is showing us His will pertaining to that prayer and then He will enable us to walk in that revelation! What we are to do is to surrender to His will! Glory to God!

  34. Bobby Says:

The posts in this thread have been great. This dying to myself is where I have been taken to personally by the Holy Spirit recently. I don’t mean to suggest that I’m “there” yet… but He (the Spirit) has definitely lead me to Gethsemene.

And therein is one of the greatest bits of encouragement I know of. Our Lord — the perfect Son of God and Son of Man — had to struggle with His own flesh’s desire to “have the cup pass from him”. Yet he did so without sin! I find enormous encouragement in this, because this “Gethsemene moment”, if you will, is a great model for how to really go to the “next level” in submission and obedience to God. The anguish that our Lord experienced is something we could learn from. If we were to go before the Father with anguish in our souls about our current state (and desire to be more submitted, humble, and childlike), then I wonder if the “transition” we all aspire to might be more easily attained?

  35. William Thompson Says:

Yes, the “Gethsemene moment” is something that all of us will have to be willing to go through if we truly desire to be like our Lord Jesus! For it says that He is our example. That time in the Garden was such anguish for Jesus that He had drops of blood as sweat! It was no easy time for Him, nor will it be for each of us as this is the time where we are brought before the Father to truly submit our “flesh” before the Almighty God and be willing to surrender it! What the Father had shown to me was that even Jesus had to go through this….that time of surrendering everything….His thoughts, His reasonings, His earthly habits which He had learned while growing up….everything! We, also, will do the same if we truly want to be as Him. It says that if we are to be like Him, then we are to share in His sufferings! (Phil. 3:10 is one example, there are many) Can you imagine what He endured for us? And this was only the beginning! He had to surrender His carnal nature to the Father! He KNEW Who He was! He was the Son of the Living God! Could there not be some other way? The thoughts….the reasonings…the arguments that had to have gone through His mind! The struggle….and yet…He surrendered so that He could go to the cross….for us!! It was only after the will was surrendered that His flesh could surrender! God had shown me this! Had the will not been surrendered to the Father FIRST….it would have interfered with His flesh surrendering afterward! And so it will be with each of us….first the “garden” and then…the cross.

  36. Diana Pulliam Says:

Yes, it is encouraging to know that Jesus was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Heb. 4:15). William summed it up perfectly, in that Jesus FIRST had to submit His will to the Father. Then, and only then, could his flesh be surrendered! This is HUGE! In any situation we find ourselves, we must first submit our WILL TO THE FATHER’S WILL. Then we are no longer ruled by our flesh, but bring it under subjection to the will of our Father!

And yes, I do go before my Father oftentimes with anguish in my soul, in much tears! I give it all to Him, make my petition (if there is one), then ask that ONLY HIS WILL BE DONE!
    Blessing to you, Bobby!

  37. Bobby Says:

Yes blessings to all of you too! I really appreciate being able to discuss these matters with other brothers and sisters who have been on this path longer than I have. I have lived quite a “comfortable Christian life” for most of my life. Until just recently. God started waking me up to some things back in 2015, and I’ve been on quite a ride since then.

Having been so much into my own personal comfort for such a long time, I sometimes feel that the struggle of crucifying the flesh is more intense for myself than what others – particularly those brothers and sisters who are used to enduring poverty and lack – have to go through. Case in point – I had an absolutely wonderful day with the Lord yesterday. I was in His wonderful presence all day, and I had some incredible time of worship and intimacy with Jesus.

Fast forward to this morning. I woke up with my back and neck really stiff, and I fixated on that physical discomfort. As a result, I felt spiritually deaf for several hours until I finally got up the nerve to cry out to God for help.

I guess I knew all along that the crucifying the flesh was going to have to be a continual process. But in my fleshly desire for ease and comfort I supposed that it was going to be a one-shot deal that was good for all time.

I guess I didn’t think about the fact that the flesh might decide to try to climb out of the grave occasionally.

  38. William Thompson Says:

Unfortunately, dealing with the flesh is not a one-time ordeal….oh! how very wonderful that would be! But since we are “in the world, but not of this world,” we must take each day one at a time. This is no different than walking, in that, we can only take one step at a time! (Luke 12:22-32) So, we are to take each day as it is given to us and yield ourselves before the Father God and pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven! (Matthew 6:10) I do believe that as we subject our carnal nature to the Spirit of God, God gives to us the strength to battle it and it will have to yield to Him! (James 4:7)

  39. Diana Pulliam Says:

I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years. I too had a “comfortable Christian life.” It’s quite amazing that, although the Lord began speaking to me about writing what He showed me back in 2008, it wasn’t until 2015 that I began to be awakened to many things. The main thing was that my comfort and ease (in the flesh) were coming to an end. This last year has been about submitting my will to the will of the Father – and the crucifixion of my flesh. The most painful year of my entire life to date.

So I totally identify with what you’re saying. It is definitely a daily thing – we die daily.
    Blessings to you!

  40. Bobby Says:

That is very interesting that you started waking up in 2015 as well. I really think that the Lord started doing more of this in the past few years. There are people waking up now that we’re fast asleep just five years ago. I was one of them obviously. Praise God for his work!

  41. Diana Pulliam Says:

Yes, every day more and more are waking up, Praise God!
    God bless!

  42. William Thompson Says:

I agree with you in that many are “waking up” as this is the work of God’s hand! His great mercy towards those who have ears to hear are those who are waking up! And there is going to be such an increase in this amount in a very short time! It is as the parable of the workers….many of us have been serving God for many years. Then there have been others who have come along but receive the same “wages.” And then there will be more who will join in the late part of the day and yet it will be the same wages….they will not have to “bear the heat of the day” as the saying goes! Praise God that the Spirit of the Living God is stirring up the hearts of people and causing them to rise up and awaken!
