“Will You Make the Cut?”

Desert

I was horrified at the thought of being outside the will of God!  The disconnection I felt in communion with the Holy Spirit was paralyzing, as fear and confusion came over me.

The Lord had called me aside to spend time alone with Him.  I’d driven several hours to get to the location, had pretty much cut myself off from the outside world, and had been there almost two weeks when the desire to leave overcame me.

Several things were pulling upon me, but the most profound was an overwhelming sense of isolation and loneliness.  In the course of the two week period, my flesh became increasingly uncomfortable, as the battle raged within.

This battle was like nothing I’ve ever experienced!  The Lord had called me to separate myself unto Him, to sit in His presence and commune with Him, but my flesh was screaming otherwise.  It was demanding attention, wanting to be entertained, coddled, anything but sit in the presence of God!

On January 5th, the morning after my return, I awakened to hear the following words:

“Will You Make the Cut?”

The day before, I’d repented of succumbing to my flesh and leaving to come home before being released of God to do so.  But when I heard these words, I began to feel horrified all over again.  It was then the Lord began to show me, not only the seriousness of my actions, but that the Bride herself will go through similar battles in the days ahead.

As shown in ‘The Dividing Line’ posted January 3rd, the Lord is erecting a dividing line, a wall of partition, which will separate the inner from the outer court of His Temple (the Church).  The division has already begun and He is saying:

“…Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.” (Rev. 18:4)

God is cleansing and purifying His house, and nothing of the flesh can remain.  He is asking us to come out from among them and be separate.  Those willing to do so, who are seeking intimacy with Him and giving the Lord permission to finish the work He has begun – to crucify their flesh, will have to experience the death of the flesh and all it entails.  They must learn to walk in the Spirit in order to not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Gal. 5:16).

As Paul said in Galations 4:28-30, “Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.  Nevertheless what says the scripture?  Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”

We are to operate in the New Covenant of promise – the covenant of the  Spirit.  Hagar, the bondwoman, was totally of the flesh. Just as God instructed Abraham to cast her out, so must we.  We must cast out all our human reasoning, our customs, plans, and way of doing things.  When God gives us instructions, or an assignment, oftentimes it will not make “sense” to our human reasoning.  Your flesh will come up with all kinds of reasons why “you must not have heard God correctly.”

I was given a sampling of the raging battle the Bride of Christ should expect as she allows the Lord to separate her for His purification process.

Not only will you have to battle your own flesh, but the wiles of the devil. The enemy will work desperately to keep as many from making the cut as possible.

Just as he tried to beguile and tempt Jesus, so will he do with the Bride.  To stop her from operating in the Spirit, He’ll work primarily through the flesh.  She’ll be questioned about God’s provision, protection, and then the very Word of God will be brought into question.  Just as our Lord Jesus went through in His wilderness experience, the enemy will twist the very Word of God to attempt to manipulate Her to act in the flesh…

To Be Continued…

God willing, the various ploys and tactics the enemy used on me recently, I will begin to discuss in Part 2.

Scripture References:

Romans 6:23, “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?  I thank God – through Jesus Christ our Lord!”

Hebrews 4:12, “The Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Revelation 18:4, “…Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.”

Galatians 4:29, “But as he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the spirit, even so it is now…”

Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

How very scarey to not make the cut . Please continue to pray for my children they are so far away from the Lord .
Thank you Diana for you continued obedience and your post

    Debi,
Your family is in my prayers, and you have the right to claim your seed for the Kingdom of God!
    Blessings to you, Debi!

  3. Matthew Ford Says:

I have been trying to get better at this as well. Also, please pray for me family as well. Wife Cindy, children Jonah, Alyssa, Eliana, Sarina

    Shalom sister!

  4. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Matthew,
I will indeed pray for your family. May the Lord bless and keep you, and remind you always that His arms are wrapped securely around you!

  5. Holly Rosenbaum Says:

Diana thank you for this word. I have been slacking in my prayer time.
Do you have the scriptures to claim our children for the Kingdom? I have five grown children all out of fellowship and belief in our sweet precious Jesus.

  6. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Holly,
Here are a few scriptures about the promises of God regarding our children. There are many more, but these are some of my favorites:

Psalm 112:2, The seed of the righteous shall be mighty in the land.

Isa 65:1, I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me.

Isa 54:13-17, All your children shall be taught by The Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children…no weapon formed against you shall prosper…THIS IS THE HERITAGE OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD

Ps 127:3 Children are a heritage (INHERITANCE!) from The Lord, the fruit of the womb is His reward.

Ps 115:14, May the LORD bless you more and more, you and your children.

  7. Carol Says:

I have spent the last 4 nights dreaming of the separating currently happening as God parts the sheep and the goats. I don’t remember the specifics when I wake up. I just know I’ve been called to witness the sorting in some way.

  8. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Carol,
It’s amazing, what our God is showing us! But His Word does say that He does nothing without first showing it to His prophets. And we know in the very last days, men, women, and children will begin to dream dreams and see visions. Wow!

  9. William Thompson Says:

    Yes, Carol,
God is doing such a mighty thing! And He is truly going to do a great shifting and separation as never before. What He has begun to reveal to Diana with these posts is so stunning and powerful that I am in awe of this work that He is doing. We have been so conditioned, if you will, to “go and do” and we think that we are moving in “faith” but we are only doing things from the flesh! But God desires that we come above all of that!

  10. Debi Says:

Oh Diana I just woke up from a terrible dream . God surely has reprimanded me. I have had a series of dreams but this morning I finally literally woke up the light bulb went off . I am a bridal seamstress and I kept having dreams where It’s her wedding day and I havnt completed sewing her dress and of course I’m in panic mode . Then this morning i finally get it. I’ve been so focused on getting myself ready ” to make the cut” I’ve lost focus on getting the other brides (for Christ) ready . Please tell everyone time is short we can’t forget to get the other brides ready

  11. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Debi,
WOW! I’m so excited that you shared this, because just within the last couple months I was told, “You must prepare Her!”

Yes, we are called to sound the alarm, to wake up as many as will awaken from their slumber. “Get up! Prepare yourself for Him! He is coming! Make sure your lamp is full of oil to carry you through!”
    Thank you for sharing, Debi!

  12. William Thompson Says:

Yes my beloved! You are so very correct!! We must prepare the people of God and walk with our hearts fully surrendered to His will, not our own. He is coming! Will He find us worthy? Will we “make the cut?”

  13. William Thompson Says:

    Debi,
We must certainly help to prepare those who will comprise the very Bride of Christ, as well as ourselves! What God has been revealing to Diana and myself over these past few months has been astonishing to say the least! We have been led to put things “on hold” as He reveals that He does not want the believers to fulfill His will by the flesh! This has to be a work of His Spirit as His Word says that He does all things for His own glory! And as He is preparing us through this purification process in our lives and spirits, He will ready us to become His Body, the Bride!! We must be willing to come under obedience to His will, just as Jesus did in the garden!

  14. Frank Dollbaum Says:

    Carol,
I have been impressed by the Holy Spirit to the same seperation, but to pray for the Laodecian, the fence rider, the back slider, the cold and the lost that they wold come to the House of the LORD and come into the sheepfold. Bless you Sister.

    Diana,
Mark 9:29 comes to mind, but more specifically we need to fast and pray. I find the more I fast and the more strictly I fast, the more clearly I hear fom the LORD when it is finished. I will save the testimony of the amazing week I had with the LORD last week, but say this: I fasted with no food for nearly 4 days and that while my felsh was screaming for sleep and food, and even though it effects my mood and everything, it also led me to humble myself before the LORD and even confess a couple little hidden worries I was holding onto. By submitting my flesh to the refiners fire, the LORD delivered me in a powerful way and I am walking closer than before. If we will just submit ourselves, humble ourselves before Almighty God, He will surely take care of us and raise us up to a new height. Remeber, our flesh is temporary. Let it be burned away so that what is eternal inside of us may be revealed, the Spirit of the Living God, Christ in us. And as I fast, I pray Isaiah 58:6-9 over my fast and the LORD is indeed faithful to fulfill His word and promises. Blessings!

Key concepts: FAST, PRAY, HUMILITY, SEEK THE LORD’S FACE

  15. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Frank,
Yes, Amen! I was told in June, 2017, “Your primary job will be to continually seek ME in prayer and fastings.” Frank, you are right on! Take a look at this post written back in June titled, “Our Betrothed.”

  16. William Thompson Says:

    Frank,
Yes and amen! We must bring the flesh into submission to the. Spirit of God.. This is that dividing line of which Diana has written! Going from the covenant of the flesh to that of the spirit! Hebrews 8:7 tells us that if that first one was going to work then there would have been no need for the second! God is showing us that if the works of the flesh could accomplish His will, then even the law would have worked! But this is that “new way” shown to Diana! It is the way of the Spirit of God!

  17. Frank Dollbaum Says:

WOW! I can’t even begin to tell you how much going back to that post just spoke to me! One of the things the LORD has blessed me with from this fast is a return to a more intercessory style of prayer as opposed to the last few months of sorting things it out with Him asking if I am being who He made me to be and am I pleasing to Him, asking if I am prepared and ready. Amazing! Thank you and Bless you both!

  18. /Cathy G. Says:

Wow! There it is again! A few months ago, after I woke up and before I could even get my cup of coffee, I reached for my Bible and HE said “Come out of her my people.” It was unusually loud and firm so I took HIM very seriously. Not only was HE calling me to continue to separate myself from the World but also the apostate church. When my husband and I started going to a supposed “spirit filled church” about 2 years ago and as everything looked and sounded “good” HE began to show us the truth after about 7-8 months . We were in denial because of the love we have for many of the people and didn’t want to leave but by the time I heard HIM say “Come out of her my people” I absolutely knew that we didn’t belong there any longer. The Lord kept pointing out sin, idolatry and pagan rituals that will no longer be tolerated in HIS church. We have since left but we keep getting calls from many expressing sorrow but I can’t even begin to help them understand why we left as it is difficult to do without offending anyone. Yes, for my husband and I dying to ourselves has been very painful but I will not compromise, I WANT IT ALL! EVERYTHING THAT HE HAS FOR ME AND MORE!!!!

  19. William Thompson Says:

    Cathy,
You are so correct in that you cannot “begin to help them understand.” This will be the work of the Holy Spirit, just as it was with you. And this will come only from each person hungering after the very things of God….not those things that sound or look “spiritual” or good! We have made so many excuses and even justified allowing the “leaven” into our lives that the enemy has had much success in pulling many away from a true walk with the Father!

  20. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Cathy,
I am so glad you’ve shared how the Lord has called you and your husband out of the apostate church – even though it “sounded” so good. In the next post (Part 2), more about the separation of His people and how the enemy will rail against you as you come out of her, will be discussed.
    Blessings to you!

  21. Victoria Vatland Says:

Have been in the wildness for many years, 17+ and did not understand for many of the beginning years, although I asked to drink from His full cup and by Him alone I stay on the altar of sacrifice for His Glory & Kingdom. A few weeks ago I awoke with this on my lips…. “you are my bought and paid for servant.” Conviction filled my Spirit and thought… I AM enough (as in HE is enough) As for me, He was commanding me to stop whining and murmuring, praise and honor Him. Eyes off myself, eyes on Him. I must minimize so it is HE all see in this empty grateful vessel. Love your faithful work with your King Messiah, His Father and Spirit as every message blesses all. Oh yeah… In prayer I called Father Daddy for the first time and He sent me not just 1 bright beautiful pink and blue sunrise but 2, back to back, as I mentioned at the first thank you for calling my attention to the early hour of the day and these beauties in the sky are short lived… He said… Let me show you what wonders I bring for my children… a second pink and blue sunrise appeared after the first faded, acknowledging my call to my Daddy. In my Spirit He said I hear your call and I LOVE YOU. Looking forward to part 2!! -v

  22. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Victoria,
I’m in awe of what He is showing and communicating to you! He has impressed upon me recently the importance of not murmuring and complaining as well! Then the children of Israel were brought to mind – all the murmuring and complaining cost many their lives and delayed their entering the promised land for 40 years!
Thank you for reminding me of this today!!!

  23. Elizabeth Reardean Says:

Recent believer in Jesus Christ My Is My Savior❤️ Repent Daily, So even though I am saved, to be raptured I must be in the Spiritual to be called & for Jesus to Know Me? I read his Word & Pray Daily…

  24. Diana Pulliam Says:

    Greetings Elizabeth!
I’m so happy to hear you are a new sister in Christ! Yes, we must stay in a spirit of repentance, prayer, and the study of His Word. The Holy Spirit is faithful to remind you of His Word, lead you into all truth, and show you things to come (John 16). God is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Jesus said he only said what he heard the Father say, and did what he saw Him do. We need to be in close communion with the Holy Spirit to receive His instructions.

Just pray about these things and ask Him to teach you to discern His voice. Remember, Jesus said his sheep hear his voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow (John 10:27). Our God is faithful to finish the work He has begun in us. Our part is to seek Him with our whole heart.
    Blessings to you, Elizabeth!
