“Learn Of Me”

Couple on Bench

The Lord has been speaking to me about the betrothal period between the Bride and Bridegroom for several weeks.  On October 15, 2017, He spoke the following:

“Hear what is upon My heart.  Hear the invitation that I speak to you.  Come!  Come to Me!  All of you!  All who are weary, who labor with your own works, those who are heavy laden, for I have a rest for your souls that only I can give.”

“Come to Me and take My yoke and learn of Me.  Come and walk with Me and learn Who I truly am, for I love you and desire to reveal to you Who I AM!  My heart’s desire is that we walk together, yoked together as one, to prepare us for what the Father has set before us.”

“As you take My yoke and walk with Me, I will bear the weight of all the burdens.  I will carry the burden of your situations and problems.  As I do, I require that you rest in Me.  Walk beside Me.  Do not push or pull as this will cause the yoke to chafe you.  Do not rush ahead as this will cause you to stumble, for the weight of the yoke will drag you back to Me.”

“I say to you, “Learn of Me.  Let the peace of God cover you as a coat, so we can walk together.  Be gentle and meek as I am, so your spirit will remain calm as we work together for the glory of the Father.”

“It will be during these times of walking together with the yoke that we can talk freely and easily.  This will be some of the most personal times we will share, and as we do, then we will be able to accomplish much work together.”

“But you must be willing to learn of Me, for truly you cannot bear the yoke alone.  Rest in Me as My Father prepares you for what is to come!”

“Do not doubt My love for you.  I am not speaking of My affection towards you, but the fullness of My Father’s love given to Me for you.  Let nothing cause you to doubt that love, for it will truly bring life to you.  Not only life, but power and authority to walk with Me.”

“The time of betrothal is a time of preparation to teach you to walk in the fullness of our marriage!  This is when we are one and begin to walk as One!”   End of Word

The Father then showed me that the fullness of God is the Power of His Love!  Col. 2:9-10 says,

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”

Jesus is the fullness of God! (Col. 1:19).  We are only complete – in Him!  Complete means: to finish, make perfect, to consummate.

And He which hath begun a good work in you will complete it in the day of Christ!  He will consummate it!  He will finish it!

This sacred betrothal season has been given to the Bride as her time to learn of Him.  Very soon this season will be complete, and the marriage consummated.  In that day, the two will become One Flesh!

Scripture References:

Matt. 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Amos 3:3, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Phil. 4:7, “And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you.”

Heb. 4:1-11, “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  For we which have believed do enter his rest, as he said, “As I have sworn on my wrath, if they shall inter into my rest”: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, “And God did rest the seventh day from all His works.”  And in this place again, “If they shall enter into my rest.”  Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first  preached entered not in because of unbelief:  Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David… “Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.  Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

Colossians 2:9-10, “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”

Colossians 1:19, “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell…”

Matt. 19:5, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

Thank you William for passing the Lord’s msg along to us; may we let go of our own agendas and plans; may we be still and listen for His Heartbeat—so His Spirit and words can guide us. I want the Lord’s yoke and His yoke only. I want to walk along beside Him, yoked to Him in His love and His peace.

Yes and amen! This is how we receive the peace that passes all understanding! Our flesh does not want to yield but our spirits are willing. The Lord loves us so dearly that He wants the very best for us!

When I read this word, it really spoke to my spirit. The Lord was speaking directly to me, as I tend to run out ahead and have to be pulled back to Him. I’m thankful you spend so much time with Him. It’s obvious to me that you clearly hear His voice!

Thank you. It is not an easy thing to set the world aside and sit before the Lord. There are so many things which attempt to pull or lure us away from His Presence….but I know in my spirit that there will be a day that is coming where we will be with Him always! That is my heart’s desire as the things of this world cannot compare to the riches of His glory! I praise God that this ministered to you!

Very Good word for this day & hour as the world pulls at people daily to draw them into self .

I agree completely! There are so many things that are used to draw people away from what the Father truly has for us, which is to reveal more of Himself to us! Our spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak! We have to do all we can to allow the Holy Spirit to draw us away from distractions so that we can clearly hear what it is that He has for us!

William…Gods timing is impeccable. Thank you for sharing 🙂 This message speaks to and quiets my inner struggle…I envision myself settling back into His hands held out almost like a chair where I rest in Him and His love on my journey…easily, faithfully trusting Him, being quiet and listening, letting go of this physical world and the silliness of my thinking that I know anything. I giggle and laugh with joy when I realize I am free because of and in Him! He is endlessly, effortlessly guiding me to the perfect place and in His perfect timing. Oh what a joy, what a glorious God He is!

  8. William Thompson Says:

THIS is exactly what the Father has for us….to enter into that rest IN Him. Only God can give that quietness to our souls and spirits and it is here that we will hear Him more intimately as He speaks the deep things of God to our hearts!
