The Rescue Mission

Rescue

On February 23rd, I was given a vision and word from the Lord.

While in prayer, I began to repent and intercede for the Church. As I prayed, I started to feel deep pain and agony in my spirit. Suddenly, what looked like a slide show presentation began.

Faces of people from all over the world began flashing across the screen. Some were crying, their hearts broken; my heart ached for them. Others were lying in beds, sick and injured; this brought twinges of pain in various parts of my own body.

As faces and scenes continued across the screen, I began to recognize some of the people: a dear and faithful brother in the Lord suffering from diabetes, who’ll die within days if his infected foot isn’t amputated; a sister in the Lord, a quadriplegic for decades, who continues praying for others as she wonders why the Lord hasn’t taken her home.

Lastly, I saw faces of those previously on-fire for the Lord who’d fallen away; some through sin, and others discouragement. I felt their pain and sorrow. It seemed they didn’t know what to do, how to reconnect. They felt so unworthy and hopeless. It was then I heard the Lord say:

“Call my people in!”

“Call in the sick, the maimed, and the broken.”

“This is YOUR body, as you are ONE with many members.”

“I’ve given you authority to overcome all the power of the enemy.”

“Stretch forth your hands to heal, to restore, to make whole.”

I began making proclamations, and the scenes started to change. I bound the hand of the enemy who’d come against my body, and saw chains breaking off the people. As I claimed the Righteousness of God in Christ, joy and gladness spread across the faces of those formerly bound by shame. Then the most amazing thing began to happen.

As I spoke words of healing and restoration over my body, those in the sick beds began to rise and stand! The crippled and maimed were healed and made whole. End of Vision

Interpretation:

I sat there thinking about all I’d been shown, asking the Lord for interpretation. The Holy Spirit immediately imparted,

“This is a rescue mission.”

Jesus is the Head of the Body, the Church (Col. 1:18). We the Church, are many members of one body, and are individually members of one another.

The members of the body should have the same care one for another, and if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.

We who are strong are to bear the infirmities of the weak (Rom. 15:1).

The Lord wants the individual members of the Body to intercede on behalf of the whole. He’s given us authority to overcome all the power of the enemy. We’re to bind the hand of the enemy that’s come against our body, and call in the sick, maimed, and the broken. He’s commanding us to stretch forth our hands over the Body of Christ to heal, restore, and make whole.

Just as God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, and there was not one feeble person among them, so will it be again! Jesus is coming for a Church without spot or wrinkle.

The next morning, as I was praising Him for the mighty miracles of healing and restoration coming within the Body, I heard the Lord say:

“There will be amputations.”

It was made clear, not all will receive the healing balm being offered from the Lord. Those who refuse to receive and bear fruit will be cut off, just as doctors must sometimes amputate part of a physical body to save the whole.

This is a mandate to the Body of Christ. There’s no time to waste. He’s calling upon us to come together as one, to repent and intercede for each other. The cleansing and purifying of the Body, the temple of the Lord, is taking place. The temple is being prepared for the full indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Glory is about to fill the temple!

“In whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:21)

Please pray for interpretation and how this applies to you personally.

Scripture Reference:

1 Corinthians 12:12-26, “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body…For in fact the body is not one member but many…But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it…”

Colossians 1:18, “And He is the head of the body, the church…”

Romans 12:4-5, “For as we have many members in one body…, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.”

Romans 15:1, “We then who are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak…”

Psalms 105:37, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.”

John 15:2, “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away…”

1 Peter 1:16, “Be ye holy, for I am holy”

At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.

  10. dpulliam Says:

Sadly, we see that happening before our eyes. There is much deception and division within the church, and many have fallen asleep. This will take a major shaking to awaken the Church. Come soon, Lord Jesus!
